Merriweather seating
« on: June 21, 2003, 10:12:00 am »
How does the seating chart work?  I got the seating chart in front of me, but what is the first row?  Does A come before AA or what? At 10:10, all I could search for is lawn tickets... is that correct?

How in the ... are all the seats taken at 10:01... who is getting these up front tickets?  Certainly not WASTE.... So apparently ticketmaster opens it up to all the brokers, big corp. etc, first.... that can only explain it.

I am assuming that it goes A-Z and then AA-ZZ or whatever.

Maybe. Ticketpalace.com is currently selling Radiohead General Admission tickets for Merriweather at $260.00 apiece.

All those scalpers have connections that work at TM.  That is how they get the tickets.

Anyone can get a job at TM as a phone operator.  You and I get together, I go in and get the shitty desk job for $8 an hour and have access to pull all the tickets I want prior to them going on sale.  Then you work the street side of the scheme.

I used to date a girl who had a friend who worked at TM and he could get me the best tickets all the time because he had the access to the system.

Oh fuck off.  You're going to bitch because I decided not to attend HFS and then you buy them on Ebay for about 1/2 of what I paid for them?  It sure sounds as if I'm making a killing in my scalping side business.

I can't believe a scam like that works.  If so, it's Ticketmaster's fault for letting it happen.  Scalpers/brokers can kiss my ass.

I think Eddie Vedder should demand a congressional hearing as to why the scalpers always seem to get the tickets before they go on general sale through tickettwats....I'm serious, you know there's some palms getting crossed with silver somewhere.
