My Morning Jacket 11/27 & 11/28

The Volume pre-sale was delayed by like 45 minutes, but both shows are on sale now and tickets are still available. The pre-sale password doesn't seem to have been put in place either. At least, I was never prompted for a password. Tickets.com snafu?

Got two for the 28th. I really like Okonokos a lot, so I'm jazzed. The mini-set before Pearl Jam wasn't very satisfying.

We hit a snag in getting it up on time and it would have been delayed even longer if we had waited for the password to be enabled. So we decided to just get it up for you filks instead. Sorry for the delay.

You're gonna have to wait until 4:20 for that, Jim.

Agreed. It was too short and didn't sound great in the cavernous Verizon Center. But their set at Bonnaroo was fantastic, so I'm really looking forward to seeing them at the club.

speaking of the sounds which plague the verizon center . . . did anyone see tool there last week?  i was really curious about the emissions, seeing how i kept hearing mixed reviews of the tour.  i almost went, but couldn't decide if the seats i pulled up were worth it.

Double agreed, I'm really stoked for this show. I wish I could afford both nights.

Oh, and thanks for getting the pre-sale up.  Computer problems suck.

Tool sounded great in my opinion, strictly from a sound perspective. Personaly I would have loved to hear some stuff off of Opiate or Undertow, but they only played stuff more recent than those two albums.

tool sounded a bit muddy from where I was located (on the 4th tier), but I still could make out the different instruments. the guitar was a bit loud, though, but the light show made up for that.
