soda or milk with your cake?

A co-worker is getting married and co-workers are throwing him a party here in our office. I signed up to bring soda.
 
    I asked if I could bring milk instead of soda, because who wants to drink soda with cake? When I asked someone if this was ok, she replied, "Milk, ewwww." When I protested "Who drinks soda with cake?", she replied "But it's ice cream cake."
 
    So tell me, would you rather have soda or milk with your cake? And no, coffee is not an option.

 milk. well coffee really. but milk is good. i also like milk w italian food -- stud that i am.
 i think i like milk alot cuz i was breast-fed. maybe explains why i like big milky boobs too. now that would be a good post topic. i really wonder y i[we] like them.

We just had a cake party.  I didn't drink anything.  However, I did have a Coke with my burrito today.

 gave up regular soda unless i'm really hungover, and drink diet only when i need some caffine. i have milk with cereal only
