My thread, still smells just as moist, as when I began it . . . officially.

Man saw videos and pics of a few days ago

Both Deaner and Gener look absolutely  awful...I cannot believe they are my age

Gener looks 65! And Deaner looks like he is ballooning like Space Freely! I know he is trying to stay sober (and failing apparently)

It’s always amazed me how musicians become so dependent on touring...how can they not have money? Take a few years off, buy a farm in New Zealand, disappear and get healthy...it’s like when Jerry kept going...why couldn’t he just stop

You can’t continue touring with the party, “rocking out” in New Hope on your down time and expect to get sober

And I am not sure a guy like Mickey can even quit booze, cigarettes and the lighter drugs...after 35 years it has to be so hard...hard drugs yes he can quit but getting completely clean ... It might even kill him to do that if he’s not smart about it...

What a sad situation...

I'd call it a tender situation... And we really should be talking about ween in the official ween sucks thread.

At any rate and this is pure speculation, but even in the absolute best of ween times, thoss guys were not clearing more than a couple hundred grand each, and that's probably a poor/high estimate. So at peak ween, they maybe had a few six figure years, but combine that with years in the red/making $37k, pretty easy to be broke.

They really never got out of the club circuit, I can guarantee they weren't wise with whatever cash they did make, and last but not least... They're complete addicts.

Rumor is deaner is sober but he must be on the milkshake and big Mac diet as his fingers make spaces look like kielbasa mittens.

I actually thought Gener looks the best he has in the past few years... Yes old, but not looking like a blimp.

Funny enough... That was the weekend I became a 100% convert.

I saw them a few times in the 90s but never really "got it." I flew to Chicago on a flight (that caught on fire, a story for another day) and it was a top musical experience of my life.

My Ween thread  >  Your Ween thread.

I would like to start off, with a basket of chips . . . then move on, to the pollo asado taco.
