Seth,

Any chance you can pull the Drive By Truckers in for a show sometime during their summer tour?  Maybe late July as at least there are no shows announced after the 22nd of that month at the club.

Anyway, keep up the good work regardless.

I'll chime in with a questions of a different sort for Seth.

Has anyone ever seriously explored the possibility of selling a "season pass" to all shows for the 930? Would the club be willing to consider it?

I would like to request the Chemical Brothers.

And here's why in the form of a business case:

I'll bring 10 friends, buy some 9:30 swag & we'll drink lots of $5 beers.

 win - win

Also, if you want to hike up to Bmore for the Truckers:

 Sat 07/23/05   Baltimore, MD  Artscape.

Of course, DC would be better.

i will second the Chemical Brothers.  no one wants to go to Nation to see them.  its a guaranteed sell out.  But I am sure Seth will be looking at booking them when they come back to the US.

The Chemical Brothers played the club in the past.  IT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW!!!  Top 5 of all time for me (and that is out of maybe 1000 shows).

I would pay big to see them back at the club.

I bet you're a tough negotiator when buying a house or car or something......"Oh I love that car, it's all I've ever wanted, and my favourite colour....how much is it?"

After seeing the performance at Coachella, I say that the Chemical Brothers would put on a positively mind-blowing performance. One of my top 3 concerts of the year. They will blow the roof off the place. Especially if they open with "Hey Boy Hey Girl" again.

Car is a Saturn...

House, the day I looked at it they dropped the price $10,000.  Hard to nickel and dime after that...

i think that would be a no.  they never know who will be playing in a month or so.  for bigger shows many fans would get screwed out of tickets.  no one can go to every show and even if they would sell season passes they would cost a fuck load.

How about Gomez and Brazilian Girls at the club on 6/17 since the hippie fest is cancelled?

make that 2 nights at the club. easy easy sellouts. and trust me seth, if its nation, even a lot of diehard fans won't go after the chem bros last show there. nation is crap. their staff are wankers.

bring the boys home to the 930!

Hey Seth, have you ever considered a free lifetime pass for boardies with member numbers below 300?
