Say what you will about Anton,but he is an incredible musician,anybody that takes the time to listen should know that.As for his statement,it is par for the course. He has a habit of making controversial statements. It just so happens his end up in print.There is usually a bit of truth to what he says,no matter how callous it may seem.It 's just Antons view,nothing more,nothing less.I for one find his work to be as good or better than most things I hear today.As for what he says,that's his perogative.Take his statements with as many grains of salt as you see fit.

how is there "a bit of truth" in that horrible statement?  If this is an average thing for him to say, that doesn't make it any better... just the opposite.
 
 I don't like "change the world," either, but EC has a lengthy list of mind-blowing recordings, Cream, Derek & the Dominos, solo, and various other contributions.  These cannot be "undone" by any number of bad songs.  He is a world class musician and songwriter, an absolute legend for the ages.  Clapton is still God.  His legacy is beyond dispute.

It's because all the buzz that Dig is generating.If Anton doesn't implode,he's liable to make a ton of cash and get some much deserved recognition for his musical achievements this year.Lollapalooza and the European dates with BRMC could be a HUGE boost to his fanbase.

Call me crazy but most parents I know do what is called "child proofing" their home against such accidents.I do not want to get into a debate on blame as it was a terrible tragedy but nonetheless it was a preventable death.53 floors up for crying out loud,and then to capitalize on it by releasing the single.Smells bad to me,but again just my opinion.Did he donate any proceeds from it?I'm curious to see  any relevent links to the exact circumstances surrounding the whole ordeal.I admit to not following it in the press at the time.Thanks.
