I'm convinced straight guys are the ONLY audience watching that show. The gay women I know hate it because most of those actresses are straight, so the gay crowd is a little pissed they're not casting with more gay women. (There's certainly no shortage of beautiful, authentically gay women.) As a straight woman, I think it's incredibly boring...same old relationship stories as the soap operas but with different genitalia.... Enjoy it anyway, but let's not over intellectualize! :p

Originally posted by cdg: I apparently can't post correctly.. Anyways, all the gay women i know LOVE this show. It has a fabulous female cast and crew and I think it is a show that can reach broad audiences because it does have a good story line that is very well written. And as far as being true to life, a lot of lesbian bars in LA that I have been to, have lots of women that look like the type of women on the show.
