That, Mr. O'Mankie, is the great mystery.  The answer is BARFFFFFFFF, and I think I speak for MANY straight women.  Ain't nothin' erotic about it.  Do gay men like girl-on-girl porno? Do straight men like looking at gay male porno?

Depends on who the woman is.

I spent my Wednesday night at Lesbian Karaoke and I can say that while the butchies can be fun to hang out with, I spent most of my time convincing smackette that the lipstick wearing bi-sexual stripper was the one for her.

I told my missus that if she ever wanted a lesbian experience I would not consider it cheating at all!  :D

The gay women I know hate it because most of those actresses are straight, so the gay crowd is a little pissed they're not casting with more gay women. (There's certainly no shortage of beautiful, authentically gay women.)  As a straight woman, I think it's incredibly boring...same old relationship stories as the soap operas but with different genitalia....

Enjoy it anyway, but let's not over intellectualize!   :p

I apparently can't post correctly.. Anyways, all the gay women i know LOVE this show.  It has a fabulous female cast and crew and I think it is a show that can reach broad audiences because it does have a good story line that is very well written.

And as far as being true to life, a lot of lesbian bars in LA that I have been to, have lots of women that look like the type of women on the show.

That's because all the men in LA are gay, and the women have no choice but to go for muff. They're not real lesbians.

I'm glad you must make yourself feel better by training yourself to think that OBVIOUSLY it's not that girls like other girls, it's because they have no choice.

Man, if you're using LA as a measure of attitudes around the US, I want some of what you're smokin'.

You're right, LA should be used as a measure of attitudes around the world.  It all depends on how long it takes the rest of the world to catch up....
