Anyone watch that show? I just sat through the second half of one episode for the first time and have a question........where are all the Subaru driving, doc martin stepping, flannel shirt wearing, short crew cut hairstyle donning butch variety? Not that I miss them or anything with all those sexy lipstick lesbos, just wondering.

That was the only thing I watched on Showtime, but when the fees went up to keep the channel, I had to surrender to only having HBO since I watch more on there.  What a great show that was.  I miss it so.

I'm usually not one to follow shows that are ongoing stories, although seeing those georgous looking women kissing and stuff is tempting. It's basically desperate housewives without a penis.......no?

We plan on getting a Subaru Outback the next time we're in the car market. Does that mean my wife will take on all the other attributes you list below?

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!  You guys are so transparent...do you think it might be the girl-on-girl action you're enjoying SOOO much?  I'm convinced straight guys are the ONLY audience watching that show.

The gay women I know hate it because most of those actresses are straight, so the gay crowd is a little pissed they're not casting with more gay women. (There's certainly no shortage of beautiful, authentically gay women.)  As a straight woman, I think it's incredibly boring...same old relationship stories as the soap operas but with different genitalia....

Enjoy it anyway, but let's not over intellectualize!  :p

but...they're actors. what does it matter if they are gay or straight, they are playing a part. isn't will from will and grace straight? ands some of the dudes from queer as folk? and the girl that was in playboy is gay, right? should gay actors not be allowed to play straight roles because it would be less authentic?

One of the Queer Eye guys just admitted that he likes girls as well as boys.

Yeah...that's basically what I said.  I didn't mention anything about the high level of acting (that isn't there).  It's the girl on girl that makes it tempting for me.  I'm not transparent, I put it right out there.

But isn't the point that there is no different genitalia?

I didn't say, 'only butch lesbians drive Subarus' did I?

I like Subarus myself actually. You don't get too many original cars coming out of Japan, and if nothing else....Subarus are original.

Also, do women get turned on at the idea of man on man action?
