Art Whino is such a great gallery. The Rick Reese show there was amazing.

my first time. plus I was psyched just to get out of the city. don't know how often they have these but I plan on making the next one.

They have had a bunch of openings in the last two months. Off hand, I can think of at least three.
 
 There's also talk of having artist studios and class space available on the first floor.

nice. the space is awesome. I may have overheard that friday that the building's owner is somehow partnered with art whino. don't quote, but ...

also, if you're specifically looking for what they had friday, tonight at the black cat kelley towles (who did the work in the men's bathroom at art whino) is doing live painting on the backstage.
 
 he's probably my favorite DC artist right now but i don't think i'm going unfortunately.
