Glasvegas/Soft Complex roll call
« on: October 03, 2008, 12:28:00 pm »
Don't know if anybody here is heading that way tonight - but I figured I'd ask given that I'm playing.  Would love to see any board folks out at the Rock and Roll Hotel.  Doors at 8:30.

so shameless, but luckily the band is good enough to pull it off.  folks going to this show should NOT sleep on soft complex.  definitely worth checking out.  unfortunately i'm headed back home this afternoon so it's a "next time" for me.

Nope, but we used to play with them a lot when he still lived in the states.

i third that.  the rnr "main stage" is a tunnel of muddy sound.

Really?  Pretty sure we only did about 45 minute set; took the stage at about 10:05 and were off at 10:50ish.  But I'm glad you at least enjoyed some of it, even if it felt long  :)

Felt good about the show; had a good time, and was good to be playing again.

i come from the "less is more" mentality with opening bands. but don't worry - i liked the set, i've been streaming your myspace songs as well.

kind of on odd gig for glasvegas i think: they arent even promoting their album in the states yet, it doesnt come out over here until 09 i think.
