What I've heard of the new Keren Ann is a bit disappointing. Enya and Mazzy Star fans might be impressed.

"Rumskib: Rumskib [cd]"

The Shoegazers are going crazy over this one. From what I've heard it's good but I'm not quite as impressed. Still would like to hear the entire thing though to get a full and fair impression.

Nothing jumped out at me on the Bravery disc.  I did find the National quite listenable, but I was distracted for some part of it and will go back.  I didn't bother with the used and will try the Buckley disc later.

Anyone have thoughts on the Voxtrot album?

You can skip the album -- it's been Coldplay-ified.

Agreed, its completely mediocre.  They had so much promise and while there are still glimmers of good music, it is largely uninteresting.

So what you're telling me is that bloggers hyped a band that wasn't quite ready for primetime?  I'm shocked and appalled.  If you can't trust a blog, what can you trust????
