Now it’s Mingus “Oh Yeah” and it would make sense my forever cooler than me dad would have owned this one, as it was recorded during the brief period of time that Rahsaan Roland Kirk was in his group.  Mingus plays piano on this one, with the fantastically named “Oh Lord Don’t Let Them Drop The Atomic Bomb On Me”.

I guess I could mention that my Dad used to drive Rahsaan around to gigs when he was younger and simply known as Roland Kirk

listening to an OK recording of ween in Ashville just a few weeks back and what a great set list
https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/ween/2022/rabbit-rabbit-asheville-nc-43b02b83.html

While I had a blast last year, I really didn't love the set list, looking forward to december and Yada pouring a beer on my head from the VIP seats

Don't say I never did anything for this community... Teed up a perfect even for the Mt. Rushmore of the forum and got nothing but regrets. Quite Sad. If only Jules would listen to ween, I know he would've joined us.

My favorite album …from 1999 finally on vinyl…triple LP!! I been waiting for years

Also out as a 6 cd deluxe edition with four CDs of extras

I had to order from Spain to get it as quickly as possible

There are songs on this album that mean an incredible amount to me….”No tan Buenos Aires”, playing right now, gives me major goosebumps…incredibly Dylanesque BTW

Great album!

From before he gargled with listerine and started clanking pots and pans.

seems weird not to, I can't imagine they are rolling in the money
just do it every 5-7 years, play 20 shows, then cash the checks

Tommy is still touring like crazy to 15 people a night
I'd also be happy with a westerberg solo show too

Edit...the internet says paul is worth $9mill...so I guess he's doing alright
https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-celebrities/singers/paul-westerberg-net-worth/

Edit #2...Heard about the I don't cares...but this other stuff is new to me
While his last release was in 2016 with Juliana Hatfield as The I Don’t Cares, Westerberg has become internet-savvy and taken his career on a new path. He has released albums under the name Grandpaboy and most recently in 2017, he took to Soundcloud as User 964848511 to release a few loose singles and joined Bandcamp as Dry Wood Garage for a few more undercover releases. While his live appearances have dwindled, there is no lack of new music from Westerberg.

Yeah I didn’t know about the relatively recent grandpaboy. The I don’t cares are cool but they don’t scratch the itch

I know Paul toured last time for kids college education but I mean if people want to see them….Paul is such a curmudgeon

i've listened to this song about 20 times in the past 48 hours: The Shira Choir x The Kiffness - Im Hashem Lo Yivneh Bayis (Psalm 127 DANCE REMIX)

if, at a minimum, your head isn't bobbing to the beat when the bass hits at 0:56, please find the closest defibrillator.
