It is an amazing sounding recording, and you'da'man for upping it. But... damn. For a guy/band whose last album was called Distortion, and was awash in it, this show is way too quiet.

I attended their two shows in San Francisco last week. I must say that we are luckier than the NYC people because we get to see Daniel Handler (Lemony Snicket) play "Scream and Run Away" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=WgkZXrtBWY8 - from the LA show).
 
 Anyway, great shows if you are a fan of the band (and the 6ths and Gothic Archies)...

just listening to it right now, i really like the new album, but i was happy to hear the new songs as "songs" and not all whored-up
