goodness . . . just not sure about the new strokes album.  hmmm.  its change.  seems like not trying though pitchfork claims this is the album that sounds like they are trying.  trying to hard?  i like the new wavves album.  they remind of a place i used to be.

I listened to the new Strokes once and I doubt I'll listen to it again. I also listened to the Wavves album once and I probably will give it another shot.

However, what I've been listening to a LOT are all the old Bauhaus albums as well as 'Gotham' which is a live reunion show. Really wish the upcoming USMH show was the full band and not PM and hired guns. Though I guess then it wouldn't be at USMH so there's that.

Benji Vaughan (AKA Yougner Brother) - Even Tundra
https://soundcloud.com/preset74/sets/even-tundra

new album due soon.  it's streaming on soundcloud for the next 48 hours (until friday evening, i believe).  good work music - glitchy, trance-y, chillout'y.

That was Then This is Now pairs witch house musicians BLVCK CEILING (music) and Moon Mirror (vocals) in a near perfect dark electronic bliss.

i like this, and i don't normally care for the genres, but how on earth is it considered pop? sounds like the exact opposite of what pop music is.
