I have never listened to a single song from iggy pop, whether with the stooges or not.  so I gave the new song a listen, the one with josh homme, called, break into your heart.  it was darn, good.

Bullshit.

There is no way you have never heard at the very least, Lust for Life.  It is on cruise line commercials.  Have you never seen Trainspotting?

I haven't had cable for over 10 years.  I saw that movie when it came out in the theatre; you expect me to remember that?  wait, I just watched the video for lust for life . . . I think, I may have heard that tune before.

ok, I have never sat down and purposely listened to him.

I am just saying, his music is not especially obscure and has been licensed over the years.
