Aloha got Soul

I always enjoy checking out compilations from unlikely scenes.  This one is a collection of soul, funk and yacht rock from Alaska..

I almost forgot about that one (been sleeping on it for a few days)... Checking it out now.

Edit, made it to the end.  It is definitely a fun, upbeat record.

Do bands not use google nowadays before they release music under a name? I guess they thought Polaris sounded original.
https://polarisaus.bandcamp.com/album/the-guilt-the-grief

(definitely not https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polaris_%28band%29 )

Edit: Maybe it does not matter since they are from Australia.

I like blah blah blah a lot more than most people... the 80s sound is unfortunate but its got some great songs....
