Am I the only person who thinks the Clash haven't aged well at all? Loved some (nowhere near all) of their stuff back in the day, but it hasn't stood the test of time. At least to my ears, anyway.

Assuming you're in your mid 30's or older, I think unfortunately they've just fallen victim to a band that you've heard every single day/week/month since you were 10 years old. There are so many classic bands that I can't even bear to hear due to those reasons.

DMZ- DMZ

cool punk album from 1978 on Sire.. around this time Sire was putting out all the great punk..Ramones, Dead Boys, The Saints, Radio Birdman , Talking Heads you name it.... these guys fell off the radar.. i think the lead singer went on to form the Lyres... I sort of collect Sire records.. Its amazing how Seymour Stein turned a shitty label putting out Renaissance, Climax Blues Band and Focus into the punk label..it seemed to all get started when he put out the Ramones...

John Prine- Pink Cadillac

I got a two cd anthology of Prine that is really cool and reading the liner notes talking about the album Pink Cadillac peaked my interest...

I don't listen to Prine often enough.. he really is a national treasure.
