A good argument for collecting reggae on cd...you can get the original lp with like 12 tracks or pick up the comprehensive reissue with 58 songs for a fraction (although it’s out of print...)....I suppose you could get both
or you could go to spotify and get all 58 tracks, right now, anywhere you are
https://open.spotify.com/album/5eh0V4WPD6ziBy6kyCrbqt

and 30 other albums (lots of compilations) and tons singles he put out

I know, a sacrilege
and the sound, makes ones ears bleed
but technically he's making more than when you buy a used cd

But I will say...thanks for the tip as I'm enjoying it right now as I toil away in the salt mines (they don't allow turntables at work...another example of the man keeping ya down)

Mollie Marriott - Truth Is A Wolf

Mollie is Steven Marriott’s daughter and I’ve seen comments that she sounds like her father.  I believe this is first full length album, but she’s been doing background vocals for others for awhile.  Would say the album is pretty good, something to listen to on occasion, might also meet hutch’s quest for new Rock.

That has potential...I love Marriott

One of my favorites...Leslie Kong was such a great producer...what a loss...I think he is responsible for my favorite ska

Another classic Leslie Kong production I managed to find...these Beverley’s lps are rarer than hen’s teeth

Both of these came from Joe’s Record Paradise on an incredibly lucky day last year

Neil Young and Crazy Horse - Rust Never Sleeps

It’s on vinyl (gasp, Vansmack) but not a rare Chilean white label test pressing (gasp, Hutch)

I thought we already did this : South American pressings blow. Avoid unless it’s locally sourced music.

Get some new material Julian

COS loves it giving it a B+
Groove Denied is the sound of Malkmus truly untethered, and once you get past the initial jolt of its radical stylistic change, you’ll recognize it for being the great album it is. Don’t let the ascetic nature of the arrangements fool you. Malkmus is trying to blow our minds, and he succeeds spectacularly,
