Enjoying the prince Grammy thing ( when did they make this?)
Having hoffs do manic Monday was tight
And criminal that they didn’t get Sinead... instead we got the worst rendition I’ve ever heard by John Legend

Morris and co brought it too

^ I'm saving this for tomorrow. Just finished the triple network virus concert thingy from whenever that was. Although they didn't knock it out of the park, it was cool to see the Rolling Stones from 4 separate locations doing You Can't Always Get What You Want. The Charliecam was best.

Prince - around the world in a day

Abba - the second or third album with SOS, Mamma Mia, I do I do I do I do I do. Every tune on there is a teenage Symphony to God, or whatever Brian or Phil said.

Watched the Prince tribute as well some hits, some misses and some blah and yes I chopped a bunch of onions while watching it.

My biggest take away was Prince worked with some bad ass women.  Shelia E was on fire and Wendy nailed that Purple Rain solo.

While Mavis Staples is one of my favorite singers, didn't think the version of Purple Rain suited her style of singing.

First time in a while I've heard a singer mention her typewriter in a song.

The angry growlers sound a little forced but he slow pretty songs are nice.

I need to listen more than once!

But am digging it

The guitarist at times sounds like Luna which is crazy

I guess it being four years from her last album means I really welcome it

Shades of Bob Dylan’s Time out of mind too

8tracks.com !!!!

Back from the grave

AFTER THE CURTAIN CALL — AN ENCORE!
We are thrilled to announce that 8tracks will resume streaming from its website, effective immediately.

TL;DR:  The 8tracks platform & brand are now owned & operated by BackBeat Inc., a new startup which acquired a portion of 8tracks’ assets during its wind-down earlier this year.

While certain music will not be available due to licensing restrictions, most existing playlists will be available to stream, beginning today.

If you still have the iOS app on your device, it will work out of the box. Otherwise, we’ll be re-introducing the 8tracks mobile apps and playlist creation (and perhaps a few new surprises) in the months ahead.
