Bought this in late 2019 for $3 which was pretty ridiculous... last great score? These days every time I go to the record store it’s packed and everything seems priced according to Discogs.. kind of defeats the point.. maybe I have enough music

There are worse kicks to be on than an extended Neil Young phase, that is for sure. One of my all-time favorites and I will be absolutely gutted when he eventually kicks it.

It's all about the estate sales and auctions for the records, and mostly just the estate sales.

I thought estate sales were super competitive.  Folks regularly arrive early and offer cash for the entire lot. Not so?

Record shows have largely been a waste for me but then I’m not the guy who shows up with a massive list (or nothing) in mind. I just don’t have the space to pick up random lps in bulk on the regular.

I have never seen an estate sale that advertised records, completely out of records with an early buy out. They can be competitive, but I am not, so I show up late into the 1st day or even on the Sunday for 1/2 price.
