The Willie show was moved from jiffy lube? It was fully seated... I don’t think it was sold out

There is a difference between shows that should be huge and are huge based on name and shows that actually transcend regular concert goers and become mass events where everyone wants to be there and you can’t get a ticket... I think secondary market prices is a good gauge

For Lorde I remember people camped out overnight at the box office!

The Killers was also a big one...he played arenas on that tour except DC I think...

I'd say NIN is probably #3-4 on that list
I don't remember a robust secondary market for that NIN show but I may be mistaken.
well I feel like they made it really difficult to transfer tickets
I don't even think the second show sold out
I remember seeing goth kids lined up over 24 hours in advance at the wharf for those tix

but Just looked at the itereny and it was mostly Anthem sized venues, but multiple dates
I feel like face was like $125 too (am I imagining that?)

So based on how that tour went, I guess it wasn't that big of a get

That lorde song

Co-write credits have been given for less but only Antonoff and Lorde get credited here..

For example on the Strokes last one there were a couple of co-write credits given to Billy Idol and Psychedelic Furs which seemed a little unnecessary

The song Solar Power itself seems kind of boring

I am not sure Primal Scream would win their case though...

Lorde: Solar Power
(backing vocals by Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo... also features an upskirt shot of lorde's butt)

starts folksy, ends groovy, always breathless.
Please refer to her by her full name “secret Boardie favorite, Lorde”.

fine: "backing vocals by Phoebe Bridgers and Clairo... also features an upskirt shot of secret Boardie favorite, lorde's butt"

very, on-brand

Gabrielle may be one of my top 3 ween songs, I still can't believe this didn't make it on a proper album

Lorde Explains the Inspiration for ‘Solar Power’: Primal Scream, but Apparently Not George Michael

https://variety.com/2021/music/news/lorde-solar-power-primal-scream-george-michael-freedom-1234994434/

In an interview airing today on Apple Music 1, Lorde explains to Zane Lowe that the inspiration for her song came from Primal Scream, but that the group’s frontman Bobby Gillespie gave his blessing. “Solar Power” was written by Lorde with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff

Ha... I always thought so too.

I may have posted this recently,  but the track "little girl in bloom" is absolute perfection.
