Gary Kemp - INSOLO

wow is this ever schmaltzy... granted Spandau Ballet always seem to be on the fine line of being overblown...  but this is a bit to much

hoping the positive review of the new U-Roy pans out...

Have you heard a lot of U Roy

Cause I think posthumous albums are the last place to listen to a musician

The Guardian review said he was still at the top of his game and I saw elsewhere that it was supposed to be released in 2020 but pushed back due to covid. etc...

how to make 9 picture instagram

A rare to me early 60s second press…why rare? Every other 60s repress I ever seen and there have been many has been in re channeled fake stereo featuring the ugly rechanneled stereo banner on cover

Maybe my favorite Miles cover

I do have an original mono

and here I thought you were talking about the fantastic valley girl soundtrack
also highlighting that I had been exposed to the Sparks decades earlier and didn't even realize it

The Paid In Full(Seven Minutes of Madness) remix done by Coldcut is the more famous version of the Eric B. and Rakim's stone cold classic

but I came across this other remix today Paid In Full (Derek B's Urban Respray Version) that has both a John Cougar and Chuck Brown sample...  probably the only time they were sampled in track together..
