Now that you mention it, Taylor Swift could do a pretty kick-ass cover of Via Chicago if she really put her mind to it.

Long story short... I was re-watching the PBS Hip Hop making a note of the songs used in and and Shazamed what I thought was a 70s funk track.  Turns out it's from a recently released music catalog album of Vintage R&B sounding tracks     Guess the producers of the doc were trying to cut costs with the use of a Music Catalog track and I wonder if anyone has ever done a cover of this type of track.  In all this album is really well done and could almost be passed off as a collection of really rare tracks.
