The Break Down: Motown Instrumentals 1960-1972

a compilation pulling from other of their other collections of unreleased tracks, it's particularly interesting to here from their early  recordings of Detroit area instrumental garage rock bands like The Mysterions who were also members of Mike & the Modifiers, The Flaming Embers and likely the Funk Brothers.

Beyond Belief is one of my all time favorites, such an interesting song on lots of levels

this opening line is just amazing
