It is going to be a late show but it will be the DBT set will be starting at 11:15.  Sorry for the misinformation I posted up earlier.  DBT's at 11:15 rather than 11:30.  Of course now there will inevitably be some technical issue and they will end up going on at 11:30 so...as you were.

It runs until 3:00 on weekends, no?  Shouldn't be a problem.  Only concern to keep in mind is if you're making a connection fairly far out from Metro Center that will be an earlier "last call" then the last train times downtown.

Talk about getting your moneys worth.  That was $15 well spent.  Allison Moorer played for an hour & DBT played for 2+ hours.  I really wasnâ??t all that familiar with Allison Moorer, but by the end of her set, I was really impressed.  Her lead guitarist is amazing and sometimes he seemed to steel the attention away form Allison.

During DBT set there was a lot of fist pumping with a beer in hand going on (their music encourages that).  All in all they sounded great. Some people must not enjoy a long set because the crowd started to thin out at 1am. But, DBT continued to play till 1:45am.

They did one cover song.   Who was that by?

1:45??

It was pushing 2:30 by my watch.

Great show.  I thought it got better the longer it went on.  Apparently, most people don't have the stamina to keep up.

Great crowd mix too.  Guidos, rednecks, preps, hipsters, cowboys...

Their set started at 11:15pm and ended at 2:45am. Longest show I've ever seen at 930.

I had 11:25 until 2:35.  Amazing.  Especially when you consider that they were loaded early on and pushed through it.

Loved the brief house lights before the second encore, if only to clear it out a little more.

Highlights based purely on it being a late 3+ hour show:

The two guys who ended up having the entire balcony stage right to themselves for the last hour almost and seemed to be lovin it.  In fact the entire balcony that was almost deserted by the end.

There was enough room for the guy in the wheelchair to tear it up mid-center of the floor.

Isbell and Cooley just rockin over the remaining crowd groping the stage in some sort of "who's going to quit first" battle.

No wait leaving the club with only 200 people left.

 Downsides:

The naughty girl in the pink top at the front of the balcony stage left stopped dancing suggestively and went home.

The hell with Neko Case. Allison Moorer is the hottest woman in music.

Best show of the year, by far.

Allison Moorer rocked. Saw her three years ago, and she has moved more toward the rock side of things, and it works for her. Was good to see Dan Baird, 50(!) year old former lead singer of the Georgia Satellites, playing guitar for her (not the lead guitarist, but the other guy). He doesn't look a day over 35, chain smoking and all.

And the Truckers were awesome. I had it 11:25-2:34. Isbell has really developed into something special. They played just about every song I wanted them to, and played them all kick-ass.

Good to meet you Grotty. I'll get you a beer at next years show...and thanks for pushing the Truckers on us boardies.

This was the best show of the year so far, and probably will be retain that title, for me...

The Truckers are the best band out there right now.

I've read enough critical pans of their albums to make me avoid seeing them.
I think they have something to do with that band Love Nut, who I thought was godawful back in the 90's when I lived in Bawlmer.
