I think Kosmo must be kidding around...

I was always put off by the goony name, but I listened to some clips and they're OK, but nothing major, IMHO...

Ministry will blow everyone away on the 25th.

no kidding here... Myracle Brah is one of my most favorite bands and they put on a killer set! Much more satisfying then that DBT show at the Black Cat.

I guess it depends on what kind of music you like. I can see a Myracal Brah show being pleasant...but I wouldn't use the word "satisfying"...I m ust say, this last show at 9:30 was way better than when they were at the Black Cat. Granted, if you're not into it, three hours is long...but if you are, you really appreciate their energy and hard work...

Agreement here.

You & Rhett were suprisingly easy to spot. Probably because there was a notable lack of couples @ the show. Actually...a lack of females in general. I did see this one though right above me: "The naughty girl in the pink top at the front of the balcony stage left"

Anyone get a setlist or know of one? My foggy head could use the reminders.

Seriously Rob - you should give DBT a try sometime. Just following your musical preferences over time on here - I think you may dig them. It's pretty much just straight up unpretentious rock n roll. Rockin' just for the joy of it. Nothing like a lot of the indie stuff you abhor.

Anyone at the show think they were country?!?!?

I'll start with Franz Ferdinand, I've heard so much talk in here, I bought the cd the other day and will give it a shot. If I like it then maybe I'll take your advice on DBT.

While that's a good plan - there's really NO relationship between Franz Ferdinand & DBT.

Interestingly, I really don't like the FF record. It would probably top my most over-rated list for the year.

Don't punish DBT for FF's crap record  :D

Nice choices - covers all 3 songwriters & singers.
If Mr Gee doesn't like any of these I'll relent. And go see Ministry.

I must've missed that.

I was in front of the stacks at stage left.  About 10-12 feet back.  Near where the giant red-shirted, black-hatted cowboy was standing for the latter part of the show.
