i do not see why anyone likes the black eyes. they are terrible.  i had the misfortune of seeing them open for the rapture a while back...its just noise and screaming, pure shite.   but DC scenesters support anything dischord..so, ya.

I thought the same thing after seeing them last year, but I listened to the album and "Deformative" is a pretty good song.

they are not at all easy to like, in any way. i was kind of befuddled after i first saw them last year, but i love how spastic and crazy they are. and no i dont like them just because theyre on dischord. i like them because they are weird and out-there and i have very random musical tastes. it's not super accessible music but if you listen to it well, it definitely grows on you
