Secret Machines in Baltimore

Anyone from up north going to the Ottobar tonight? I might have to fly solo tonight since all my friends seems to owe me money already!

I have 2 comps for tommorrow's show at the Black Cat.....so won't be doing the Baltimore show....

good show all in all.  The Helio Sequence was nice, but i was involved in other things.  They were nice background music anyway!  Thier shirts are nifty that they were selling, i almost bought one.
 
    Secret Machines were cool as your mama. A very long instrumental intro and then into thier Nowhere Again song.   They played about 1 hour without saying ANYTHING to the audience.  and i dont even recall them totally stopping in between songs, just a few cymbals or a soft guitar interlude.  The last song was the best, and then without saying anything, they were gone. and no encore!  kinda wierd, but good musicians
 
   only problem, those goddamn spotlights facing into the crowd.....bring your sunglasses for SM
