one of the best songs on the album. and one of those classic songs that just are made to be performed live.

I was at the show Friday night. Can anyone tell me the name of the song they played with The Roots right before they left for the first encore? It was when they asked for people to get out thier mobile phones, and then The Roots sang Light em up.... Anyone know the name of that song?

I'm fairly certain that was also Warning Shots.

Nope it wasn't. I just went and listened to that song. Not it. This was the one where they asked everyone to get out thier mobile phones and it was BEFORE they had an encore. They also pulled a whole bunch of people up on stage during the song. I think they played Warning Shots as part of the first encore they did.

 This is driving me nuts....anyone?

No, I think you're referring to the last song of the first encore. They ended the main set with Warning Shots, then the people on stage thing was the end of the first encore, as I remember. The name of the song escapes me at the moment.

I have to agree...though I know it feels like it's trap-setting, keeping drunk folks off the road is never a bad idea.  Also, should keep the parking lot safe late at night, that was my first thought.

the song is called "coming from the top" and it's only available on the Thievery DJ Kicks album.  oh, and it's just "roots," brother of "zeebo" who also perform as See-I.  "the roots" is a now overrated hip-pop group.

 best.
