I used to have the welt to prove it   :D
It is under my pillow, you are NEVER getting it back.

My point exaclty...no throwing shit to the kids, they only fight over it and it ends up in tears when little johnny doesn't get his own way, then tries to blame someone else......my 2 1/2 year old is just the same!

well the bouncer could get charged with assault if he did anything, i would think. this is especially easy consdiering you are at the show with your friends [witnesses] but, like i know when it comes to court and judges, its a load of crap it comes down to what that prick on the bench thinks. and it not always just or fair and nobody gives a shit. do courts tend to stand up for the bouncer/security/club or the complainant/victim? i would guess courts are biased against the concertgoer b/c u r seen as a long-haired hippy punk out to cause trouble and get drunk and high meanwhile the bouncer is like a cop in their eyes and on the job with a set of standards that is being applied. anyone know? woul the cops need to make an arrest? would they take the complaint or say there isnt enuf evidence or some shit like that? but hey if the bouncer injures u can sue the shit out of the club maybe that'll make the club/bouncer think twice next time.

In light of VMS's explanation of events, I'd really like to hear stoker weigh back in.  I doubt he expected the offending bouncer to read this and post.  Stoker!!  Paging Mr. Stoker!!!

Why not sue the drummer for starting an affray...or if the drumstick hits you have the twat arrested for assault!

Not that this has any bearing on this thread, but we don't employ "bouncers" at the club. Bouncers are people who's job it is to throw people out of clubs when they get out of control. Our doorstaff does everything from taking tickets, checking ID's, controling access to certain areas, maintaining general security, handling medical needs... the list goes on. Ejecting unruly patrons is only a small part of their job and the label bouncer doesn't fit at all.

i know some ppl go apeshit about any mention of sueing in any case bc of the frequent and frivolous lawsuits out there but that does not mean that others are not legitimate. often it is the only effective recourse to to remedy a wrong and prevent the injustice in the future. i especially dont think it is frivolous in the case of being intentionally assaulted by a bouncer* or a club that does not provide strong enuf sanctions or other mechanisms to ensure that this does not occur or screen out former WWFer's tho that would be interesting. *[or whatever you'd like to call the bulky people in similar clothing standing close proximity to the stage]. nor do i mean that all bouncers are like that, in fact i hav no clue, but my point is IF one did.

ps. however, i sometimes wonder if the thrown drumstick is going to go straight into someones eye! i often see drummers toss it so it does not spin vertically, minimizing the spear potentional.

You know that in my time at the club I haven't really seen any person ejected from the club bounce.  I mean to clarify are we talking superball type of bouncing, hey I'm a teenybopper I wanna see the stage bouncing, ping-pong ball bouncing or do the staphers bounce when they eject people?  Ok that last one just created mages in my head that are hysterical.  Yes, thatguy bouncing up and down like a kangaroo while ejecting someone.  Come now we all would find that entertaining now wouldn't we?

And drumsticks are the best!  I agree with the chocolate at the bottom of the cone.  Hmmmmmm delicious!

Holy crap, whoever thought that Orleans cover was a good idea!  Although, maybe that's the last time, before now, that the bearded look was in...  So what band should next attempt the shirtless cover art?
