News Aggregators

What do you guys use for RSS readers?

I've been using Bloglines for a while, and have been fooling around with the Google Reader over the last couple of days, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the options out there.

If I get a software/hard-drive-based aggregator, can I install it on both my laptop and desktop and have it sync somehow?  Because otherwise I think the only way to go is a web-based one like Bloglines or Google or something, otherwise your "read" items would never sync

 Ideas?

News Gator.  The Outlook plugin makes getting RSS feeds as simple as email.

That reminds me, RSS is built into IE 7, but I haven't tested that feature yet.

If you don't use Outlook, is it still as good?
