Forum Gathering
« on: January 31, 2003, 07:34:00 pm »
It's been a long time since there beens a proper forum gathering and at first glance theres not much happening in Feb around these parts and March will be hopping.
So post suggestions of places where a load of alcohol consuming music fans can gather and amuse one another for an evening. My thoughts include a party, a drinking establishment with a great jukebox, someplace we all know and love...
Skaboss do you if the Marx Cafe still has it's communal turntable nights? And would it possible to get them booked for entire evening. I and at least one other regular are interested in spinning for the peeps.
Any other ideas? We promise not to sling to much sand at each other.

I'm leaving on Tuesday for a week of alpine endeavors, so next weekend wouldn't be good for me. But I'd definitely be up for commemorating Fuckhead's....I mean Markie's...coming of age after I get back.

We'll be hunkered down in front of the tv on Saturday night from 8-10 watching the Budweiser NASCAR Shootout. Unless you gather at a bar that had that on the tv...perehaps we would have enough energy to go out after it was over and make a cameo appearance.
As far as the following weekend goes, we'll be around, but have a show on Sunday night (Bennett and Burch at Iota).

I think this looks like being a two Saturday event.
I want to go out on the 8th as its my birthday, but I am happy to go out on the fifteenth too.
I am sure we will stay out past 10-o-clock Rhett. You should buy me a root beer on the 8th.
