Im sure some of you have already seen this, but for those who have not, check out www.kcrw.com, and watch Broken Social Scene's performance on Morning Becomes Eclectic, its quite beautiful..all the new songs translate so well acoustically.

I've had it in heavy rotation at work the past few weeks.  Pretty damn great.

Of course, the beloved security team here blocks KCRW from me, just as they do KEXP.

I can listen to WOXY, but choose not to.

The acoustic versions of these songs are great. You really get a chance to hear Julie Penner's violin work, which works really nicely.

KCRW is now podcasting Morning Becomes Eclectic. A definite MUST for the subscription list.

And BSS fans might be interested in their NYC appearance - two nights at the Webster Theatre on the last weekend of January. Although, I have a bad feeling that this will be a Broken Sausage Scene seeing as how Metric, Stars, and Feist are all on tour in January. *sigh* And Lisa Lobsinger doesn't really count.
