i can't believe nobody's mentioned The Dismemberment Plan's "Spider in the Snow" (maybe my favorite song of theirs)

 also:

The Gloria Record: "Grace the Snow Is Here"
Go Back Snowball: "Dumbluck Systems Stormfront" (that one's for you pollard)
 Kings of Convenience: "Surprise Ice"
I Am Kloot: "Sunlight Hits the Snow"
 Shuggie Otis: "Ice Cold Daydream"
Low: "Last Snowstorm of the Year"
Jethro Tull: "Skating Away (on the Thin Ice of the New Day)"

You've obviously never seen the animated short film The Snowman.  I just associate the song with snow because of that film, it's a personal thing.  And I like Nightwish's cover version best, probably because Nightwish is one of my favorite bands.

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra - "Wizards in Winter"

I've seen it.  Does this mean that if the song has a wintry theme, even though there's nothing in the title to suggest it...then it's allowed?  I think not.

Fortunately, I wasn't expected to be in today; otherwise, I would be expected to be in. It's pretty nasty here in Baltimore and still going strong. Work and surfing never coincide for me so I can hang out with you today.  ;)

Haven't reread this thread so may be some repeats.

My Bloody Valentine - Soft As Snow But Warm Inside
Colfax Abbey - Snowshine
Ceremony - Cold Cold Night
Celestial - Warm Against The Cold
Disco Inferno - Footprints In The Snow
Polar - Snow Song
Glissade - Fields Of Snow
Lilys - Snowblinder
The Vandelles - Lovely Weather
