To this day she refuses to believe that I was taught in 1st grade in a Catholic school that any non-Catholics would go to Hell after death. As shy as I was, and in an insane asylum of a school (yeah, the old days of Catholic schools with the most punitive order of nuns), I still had the nerve to raise my hand and ask about those non-Catholics who never, ever commited even one sin and were extremely good people. I was told that they too would go to Hell.
That's the day, as a 1st grader, that I took my very 1st step out of the Catholic Church.
She also believes that all the talk and evidence about Gay priests and peodophiles isn't true either.
And you wonder why I have issues. :roll:
