 "Very bad news,. Just got inside news from my cousin who works at the guardian, word is Simon Gallup is opting out on his contract ASAP due to un-disclosed reasons. The Cure will need new Bass player ASAP to keep curiosa on schedule. My cousin is a manager and he related there is a gag order from the court as petitioned by their record company. I post new info as it comes in."
 
 Well at least someone in the band still has testicles.  Perhaps Ross Robinson took Robert's dick out his mouth long enough to provoke Simon one last time(?)

I guess reading this news (if it IS true) makes me happy I am not seeing this tour.
 
 Simon is one of my favorite members - always loved his look and of course his playing skills, and he has been such a long-time member of the band.  I don't think it would be the same without him.
 
 I still don't consider that drummer Jason to really be a REAL Cure member.

i only wanted to share it 'cause it is as redundant as it is absurd - i read these two comments elsewhere, and found them to be highly entertaining... especially the references to male genitalia.
