A post-wedding wrap-up, please?
« on: October 17, 2005, 05:04:00 pm »
So I went and got married and had a honeymoon, and after three weeks, I'm way behind on these posts.  Anyone want to give me a summary of what I missed?  Any quick show reviews?  Anything?

Congratulations!

 Where was the honeymoon?

 When is the baby due?

Gotta be nice to newbies.

Clap Your Hands and Say Hi To Your Mom sold out in 17 minutes.

FOO FIGHTERS at the 9:30 Club!!!!!!  Luckily very easy for anyone who wants to go to get tickets.

 Presales all smooth sailing.

Markie and Lulu just won't shut up.

Something about baseball, something else about soccer, something else about bikes and the evil of cars.

Some famous people died (I don't read that thread).

DCist and 9:30 Club forum looking at some way of merging forces or working together to best realize the benefits of each and cement our mutual admiration society.

Everyone fully understands and sympathizes with the recent price hike for beer at the the Club, as we all want our favorite venue to remain viable in this free market economy.

I would have offered, but the wild accusations that would have led to I think are best avoided.

Thanks.  The honeymoon was in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, which is about 40 minutes south of Cancun.  Easily the best vacation I've ever had.  Nothing but lounging in the sun, scaling ruins and swimming with tropical fish.  Oh, and finally consumating the marriage.

The baby is due in exactly 9 months from our wedding night.  You'll all be invited to Charlie Nagatestes Behr's baptism.

Sounds like I didn't miss much, although I did come back to find my company in the midst of beign sold off.  As if heading back to work wasn't shitty enough.

Oh, and clouds R², I believe it's econo that's in Australia visiting his better half.
