I just saw a video for The Darkness last night, and it was *awful* -- plus the entire opening riff is ripped right out of "Sister Havana" -- Urge Overkill should sue.
 
 Thought on any of the other contenders?  (I also know only about half.)

they all sound like crap to me........
 Martina Topley-Bird sounds like she should have big knockers though..............

Radiohead deserve it, by quite a bit.  Coldplay are pretty background music, but hardly the auteurs of the best album of the year (yeesh!)  And most of the rest are just OK.  Dizzee Rascal is a pretty interesting UK garage MC, although the praise being heaped upon him is a bit ridiculous for an 18 year old with only one record.
