- When first listening, not hearing the same song again for more than a week (Godley and Creme's "Snack Attack")
 - Hardcore on Sunday mornings while I set up the new week's sales at Bradlees
 - Tom Terrell playing Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car" for the first time, at the wrong speed!
 - Bob "Here"'s truly unclassifiable music, especially one miserably cold night driving through rural Anne Arundel County
 - Mark B's overnights: lots of Firesign Theatre and avant-garde
 - Weasel's voracious appetite at record release parties; how could someone so scrawny....
 - of course, seeing Weasel for the first time and realizing that his nickname fit like one's own skin
😐 🎶

my greatest HFS memory is when they did the countdown of the top 500 songs of the decade (90s). It was pretty neat. but i just moved here in 1996 so i think it was already crap by then, no?

Weasel announcing that Bob Here was going to be out all week, because The Grateful Dead were in town and Bob declared it a national holiday.

Bob Here was the best.  He could play The Grateful Dead, Dead Kennedys and The Cure all in the same set, yet somehow make it work.

- When Johnny Riggs used to take pictures of my friend's at-the-time-girlfriend (she was a sophomore in high school at the time) and her friends jumping on a trampoline.  It was quite a shock when he was arrested for child porn.

 Also, the 10:00 news.

Talking with Kathryn for about 1 hour about Twin Peaks before she sucked and was "your old buddy girl Kath".
