i understand that famous people never get shit on them:  polanski, oj, paris, but lindsay?  who in the hell is she in the grande scheme of celebritnation?  polanski was (is still?) a genius and respected director, oj was a great (heroic?) and respected footballer, and paris is worth triple digit millions.  but what about lindsay; what has she really done as a celebrity to deserve having four drug related felonies (three strikes and you're out in cali.) just dropped like she's the president's daughter?  that is a serious slight to everyone who makes a first time offender mistake and GETS twenty times at what she was looking at.  i don't know who's more fucked up - the celebrites for getting away with it, the legal system which allows it to happen, or us who read about this stuff, and calmly turn the page to see who's fucking who on the real world.
