Even that it is Memorial  Day weekend, the Metro does not run late on Sunday. This kinds sucks.

duh.  thanks for the reminder.  yeah, totally makes a difference.  and i walk to the club, so metro isn't a concern for me.  looks like i'm in.  i've heard of the slickees forevah, but have never seen them perform (not that they do so very often any more).  by all accounts, their shows are wild... can't wait to see for myself.

Do you often go see bands you know nothing of?  You are definitely a scenester.

They are too middle aged to be wild.  They are the Slickee Men now.  There's a chronic shortage of Slickee vids, IMHO.

what makes you think i know nothing about them?  definitely not alot, but some.  i've owned several of their tracks on various comps and mix tapes.  i've read about them (some punk music mag described them as "wild", back in the day... maybe their middle age has mellowed them out).  i know enough about them to want to see them, at least once.  this happens to be the first time they're playing the club on a date that i'm in town.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the music.  Because they really rawk in an eighties hair metal sort of way!
