Hello -- I was wondering if anyone has a tape of Vertical Horizon's performance (10.8.04). There was this version of "Wash Away" with a cover of the Beatles' song "Lonely People".. it was so.. amazing.  
 I'd like to know if anyone has a recording of it that they could trade with me, Or could point me to where i could find it? (I've checked the forum on their site, but it's closed down..)

I remember when people used to tape vertical horizon shows ... it was about 5 years ago... then they completely sold out, became corporate stiffs, and I think tapers (and their fans) pretty much stopped caring about them ...

 Nah, their fans are just five years younger. Or, five years older. Dependent on how you look at it.

nah, their fans are just five years younger or...five years older...dependent upon how you look at it.

there were two tapers, one copy is cut, and one has static.
 
 The song's called Eleanor Rigby.
 
 This wouldn't happen to be the same person who posted on footprints now, would it?

Yes.. it is..  I posted here first, before I found out about footprints.  
 
 
 (and Iâ??m asking so soon, because a) Iâ??m not familiar with this whole taping thing  (thought it was illegal -- thought Iâ??d get flamed for even Asking the question here..), and b) I figured if it Had been taped, it wouldn't be available for too long, so I figured Iâ??d ask early).
 
 And.. I posted this same question on STG (before footprints).
 
 So when you see it there, disregard..   :-/

But this is what the forum is for, so good luck finding your tape.  
 
 Oh, and not to get too Barry from High Fidelity on you, but check out a couple Beatles CD's or read a couple of poetry collection books next time you're bored in Borders.  "Eleanor Rigby" is a classic that you should know.  I'm certain it was in my high school English book.  And don't take my word for it, apparently Vertical Horizon thinks you should know that as well.

 someone on footprints corrected me on that, too -- i meant to mention that i now know the song is not called "Lonely People".  
 
 in fact, if stg weren't down right now .. i'd go over there and delete that post..  (i dont really know any of the beatles' songs  (sad, eh?)... but the guy next to me at the show was like "This is that song by the Beatles")..  
 anyway, pardon my ignorance..
