never ever meant to imply that, i did nothing to make the ban happen.  i take no credit, sorry if i came across that way.  i admit to having been flippant and hyperbolic, but that was my reaction to someone doing the same thing from the other extreme.  i know, i know, fighting absurd with absurd is... well... absurd.  mission accomplished!

so i just blow smoke at them the whole show. now i cant!

 lame.
watch out, i said something similar on this board a while back and was openly accused of assault and battery, threatened to have my picture sent along to 930 staph to watch out for my smoking habits, etc, etc

it's a crazy world out there!

You need to have a smoking ban. Who wants to smell that or have to deal with that in a public space. It's all about status, I think I look cool.

No positive effects of smoking, it doesn't add 50 more years to your life. I hope it happens everywhere.

If you like your teeth to rot and your breath stinking then hey your choice. But I shouldn't have to pay for you kiling yourself.

Good it helped you to get a better spot at the venue.

There's no point in allowing annoying people into bars and clubs either.  Somehow they haven't banned them yet.

One result of the smoking ban: if we go to see Joseph Arthur on his tour, my wife will go to the Monday night DC show as an 8 months pregnant woman instead of the Saturday night Baltimore show as a 7 months pregant woman.

What I can't fathom is why we still have smoking lounges (which constantly seep smoke out in the hallway)in our federal gov't building.

Clearly she's jealous that she's not having Rhett's baby.

Celeste, do you not find this annoying at all?  Kind of diminishes you to nothing more than a vessel, with his constant reference to your current incubation level.  My two cents, which we're clearly all allowed to express here.
