I wonder if he'll have a fully stocked merch. table.

I'm looking forward to the show, though.

Who did Vanderslice open up for last time he was in DC?  I'm drawing a blank.

The only Mountain Goats song I've heard is The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton.  Great song, but I won't be able to make the show.

Ace of Base cheesy?  Never! Great show, though - although the Vanderslice soundcheck was rather trying on the patience.

Gotta admit, I've seen Vanderslice I guess 3 times now and he's good-- artistically.  I love it.

Mountain Goats were such *charmers*-- he worked the crowd amazingly and made a two-piece (mostly) acoustic into something really exciting and fun.

I was surprised, also, at how many folks stuck around after Metro closed until the post-1am finish time... really a credit to the band.

Jadetree got me to go see the Mountain Goats at a tiny venue in SF.  Forever in love....
