Beanie Sigel Found Guilty Of Eye Socket Assault Beanie Sigel has just been found guilty of misdemeanor assault for breaking a
53-year-old man's eye socket.
Sigel, born Dwight Grant, was sentenced to two years probation and must pay $180 in court costs. The charges stem from an altercation in which Sigs reportedly punched Wendell Mathis, breaking his left eye socket following an argument back in January 2003. The assault took place after Sigel called a woman Mathis was talking to a
"Ho." The case ends Beans' long list of criminal charges. He was acquitted of
attempted murder last September. Months later, he was jailed until he paid $26,000 in
child support and $2,000 in fines. According to his attorney, Fortunato N. Perri Jr., Sigel now plans to return to the studio, work on his clothing line and get back into acting.
