Nice article from the Guardian.

The prints in the gallery link at the bottom are pricey but cool looking.

They have been playing the new single on WOXY.  Good stuff.

So am i up to date with the knowledge that they are back together again? I saw them (sans the junkie member) a year ago and thought they were great. Sounded a lot tighter than I thought they would.  Could only imagine how excellent they would be with the entire band?

Their Black Cat show last August (?) was one of my favorites of 2003. Lots of energy, couldn't even tell the guy who normally sings them wasn't there.

I've been hoping they make it back over here, but had heard about these problems tearing the band apart. With a new album, might they play the East Coast in the fall?

Well, the one libertine who splits the singing chores was there...the messed-up libertine who's an addict and tried to rob the other one wasn't.

Pete has been in and out of rehab lately.  Hasn't been on tour with the libertines for awhile.

markie, ggw, let's see that guy on guy action!
pete was in rehab in the far east somewhere, but then left, and has been gigging/not showing up for gigs with some wolfman band lately. technically he's not in the libertines anymore but if he were to clean up his act he would be.

Posting that link to the songs has made my week, so many thanks!  Only now, I'm frustrated again due to the fact that a Libertines North America tour has been anounced,  sans either DC or Baltimore!!! Argh!  I was at the Black cat show and even w/o Pete it was easily one of my top 5 concert experiences ever.  The libs need to get on this message board and take notice that the DC area at least has a couple die-hard Britrock fans around here worth playing to   :p  .

The Libertines are coming to DC Oct. 19th! And Radio 4 is supporting. I got this info from a Radio 4 newsletter, so I think it's legit. No venue listed.
