general question

what are the chances of someone selling a ticket outside of the broken social scene show wednesay night? i have one but my car wont make it to dc and and my friend wants to know if he might get a ticket if we go

If you're looking for just one ticket, I think your chances for both shows are pretty good.  But there's never a guarantee, of course.

I'd say it's a pretty safe bet if you show up 30 minutes before doors you'll find SOMEONE willing to sell one. May be pricey.

But if you wait until doors are open, or right before the opening band, you can probably get face value.  Shit, I sold a Death Cab ticket last night for $20 'cuz I'd missed too many Stars songs already...

i think anyone who tries to jack up the price of a ticket is a scumbag. i'd never sell it for more than i paid.   :cool:

I have always been able to get a ticket outside of the club on the night of the show.  "Always" being defined as the 6 or 7 times I've tried.  I don't think I've ever had to pay anything outrageous either.

haha...umm, $20 & a stella artois should just about cover it (and find out the menu prices for me at belga cafe by 530pm today?). but the key word is "might".. i should know definitely by gameday.

pricey and unremarkable.  great beer list, though, and good fries.  but it's expensive - $15+ entrees.

 i'm sure the beer is great though... and i miss those fries in the paper cone (w/ the mayo)...
