which one? baltimore? annapolis?

if annapolis, its nice, best for small subdued show. staff make you sit and be quiet. much more than the shushmere. food at the restaurant is decent, not great, but good.

MORE quiet than Birchmere?!?!  That's not possible, unless they remove your larynx on the way in.

I found that, from my seat, I could be rowdy and wriggle/dance around if the band is rock.  I loved it, thought it was WAY more fun than the Birchmere and you can pick your seats when you buy tickets!!

Of note, I've only been there once, and for a favorite band.  But, I had several drinks and wooped it up (from my chair).

The one in Baltimore, have to go see Disturbed with the GF in December.  Do they have good beer/prices?

Unless they have rearranged the one in Baltimore, it has horrid sight lines and a PA that is poorly hung.  Beer prices, nothing great from what I remember, worse than normal B-more prices.

I can back up Bags...there were several folks standing up and rockin' out. And what a damn fine show it was!  ;)

I'm guessing it's RHL (Disturbed). Anyhow, I thought the sight lines are fine. Drinks no more expensive than anywhere. Burgers are seven bucks, though! Right on about the PA system. And sorta strange w/ the panel in the front middle floor.

RHT - crazy talk! They made you hush? Keep you from climbing on stage, maybe; I haven't had anyone shush me or keep me to my chair. (I've wanted to shush a few tho!) Expensive as hell and it pisses me off + smaller menu on venue side.

Beer is decent, prices are certainly better than the 930 club. Not sure about the comment about the sight lines, I had no problems and the layout looked good from most places as far as I could tell.

The site lines problems to me were:

 1.  upstairs is pretty flat.  Therefore, off the railing you will see nothing.

 2.  Downstairs the whole left side is under the 2nd floor ceiling so again hard to see.

THey have video going to let you see on TV the bands, but in clubs that size I want to see directly.
