ticket outlet
« on: August 07, 2003, 12:40:00 pm »
I was wondering if anyone knew how to go about obtaining a license to sell tickets ie:ticketmaster etc.?I have a good friend who operates a new/used music store and was considering this idea,as there is  no place to purchase tickets within a 100 mile radius.Does anybody know anything regarding this,ie:contact person, rather it is worthwhile monetarily etc. Thanks in advance.

On their site it gives this contact:

 tc.inquiries@ticketmaster.com

Running an outlet can be very profitable for the operator -- if you know what I mean -- nudge, nudge, wink, wink.....

Well,I'm waiting to hear the specifics from them.If it pans out,of course I'll clue you all in.As there's no outlet within 100 miles of here,I'm hoping something can be worked out.If it's worthwhile that is.Anybody ever work for these people that could offer some insight?

Looks like I won't know anything for a few days: You'd think they'd have someone available to field these questions.                                                                                                   (the following is an auto-response)  We have received your Ticketmaster
 Ticket Center Inquiry.

Please note this an not an e-care link.  If you are in need of customer
service, ticket or event information, you can find assistance by either:

1 - visiting the following link for Customer Service phone numbers in your
 area: www.ticketmaster.com/h/customer_serve.html

2 - using the email form found at the following link:
 www.ticketmaster.com/h/emailform.htm.

We will respond to all other queries regarding Ticket Centers within the
 next few business days.

 Thank you.
