It is ok, starts to run together, which is fine for background noise for working.

i might get killed for saying this... but why is it that nirvana ALWAYS wins top songs of the 90s or whatever award is given out. not that i think they dont deserve any recognition, but it gets old when i watch some horrible top 100 show on vh1 and nirvana always wins. it takes the fun out of it.

It does take the suspense out of it.

I think they reserve the #2 spot for surprises.  I mean, I like Radio Free Europe, but I don't even think it's the best song on Murmur.

So what would you vote for Paige?

Top modern rock songs of all time?

 Isnt that unnecessarily verbose?

Shouldnt it just be: Songs played to death on the radio?

Definition of Verbose - Using or containing a great and usually an excessive number of words; wordy.

Yours had just as many words.

It's good, if you like Spiritualized. Have only listened to it twice so I'd really rather give it a couple more listens to commit myself.

One of the drawbacks is that there is nothing new. Same hooks, themes, ideas, etc.. Don't know if Jason would be worth listening to if he went in some other direction anyway.

Some of it drags and could use a little more production and some of it really rocks. I think the rockier songs work better except for my favorite song on the album which is called Rated X. That song is very good. Very etherial or dreamy.

The album was put together in only 2 weeks, so hopefully it will be mastered and any weak spots pumped up.

There are a few horns here and there but not loaded with them like the last one was. Let's just hope that he leaves the damned horns home this time around!
